NUTRITION

Lacto-fermentation is an ancient method of preserving and enhancing food naturally.

Beneficial cultures on the surface of vegetables convert natural sugars into lactic acid, creating probiotic-rich foods that support digestion and gut health. Unlike pasteurization, which can strip nutrients, lacto-fermentation preserves the integrity and nutritional value of the vegetables.

At Spirit Creek Farm, we ferment our vegetables in small batches, making each batch unique. Since lacto-fermented foods continue to develop over time, keep the contents submerged in liquid by pressing them down with a utensil or storing jars upside down to prevent drying.

No Added Sugar

Our products contain only the natural sugars found in vegetables, which are transformed into lactic acid during fermentation.
